The Board of Directors of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad ("KJCF") wishes to announce that KJCF has further invested USD 3 million in Kian Joo Canpack (Vietnam) Co. Ltd, ("KJCV"), a 60% owned subsidiary which has resulted in an increase in paid-up share capital of KJCV from USD 10 million to USD 15 million on 19 December 2008. The fund was internally generated.
